The Highcom RSTP III+ ICW plates are a multi hit rated, lightweight, ultra thin and high performing rifle rated plate. At just 2.9lbs and 0.55" thin for a 10x12 shooters cut, these plates make an excellent contender for a concealment plate, or for general purpose use.
Engineered with a ceramic strike face and polyethylene backer, the RSTP III+ ICW plates are capable of withstanding multiple hits of 7.62x51mm (.308) M80 Ball, 7.62x39 MSC, 5.56x45mm M193 and M855.
The RSTP III+ ICW has been independently tested and verified to meet standards by an NIJ certified laboratory, as set forth by the NIJ 0101.06 standard. These have also been verified to pass modified US Army SAPI standards.
The RSTP will stop M193, M855 and 7.62x39 on it's own, but we recommend a IIIA backer to acheive its full rating against .308 M80 ball.
